TRACK & FIELD

Track & Field challenges athletes to test their speed, strength, and endurance while fostering teamwork and personal growth. Whether your child is new to the sport or eager to set a new personal best, our program offers a supportive and energetic environment where everyone can thrive.

With 12 different events ranging from sprints and relays to jumps and throws, athletes have the opportunity to explore different skills and discover their strengths. Our coaches focus on building overall fitness, teaching proper technique, and encouraging kids to strive for both team success and individual improvement.

Misc. Information

Track & Field is unique in that athletes of all grades and genders compete together as one team. Parents are asked to volunteer at meets, as CYC requires each team to provide event support. Communication is shared through Team Sideline and the team’s Facebook page. Top six finishers in each event/division at meets receive awards. Coaches and volunteers—especially those with track or field event experience—are always welcome.
